Previously, Mr. Sherman was recognized by CityBusiness magazine as one of the Driving Forces during its 45th anniversary. He was named an Activist of the Year by St. Charles Avenue Magazine in 2022. Also, in 2022, he was honored as a New Orleans ICON by New Orleans CityBusiness. He has been inducted into the New Orleans Sports Foundation Hall of Fame and was selected by New Orleans Magazine as one of New Orleans’/Jefferson’s Most Influential Citizens and a “Person to Watch.”
