Neyah Johnson
Associate
Neyah Johnson is an associate with Chehardy Sherman Williams and a member of The Trial Team.
Ms. Johnson received a Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University and a Juris Doctorate and graduate degree in comparative law from the Paul M. Herbert Law Center at LSU. While earning her law degree, she was involved in the Public Interest Law Society and the Black Law Students Association. She was the first African American woman to be elected as the Executive President of the Student Bar Association.
Before joining Chehardy Sherman Williams, Ms. Johnson clerked for the Honorable Paula A. Brown of the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
She is involved in local legal organizations such as the Louis A. Martinet Society, A.P. Tureaud Inn of Court, and the New Orleans Bar Association Young Lawyers Section (NOBA YLS). This year, Ms. Johnson chaired the Approach the Bench CLE Series for NOBA YLS and organized four CLE events in courtrooms within New Orleans.
