A born and raised New Orleanian, Mr. Marx has been practicing law in the New Orleans area for more than 35 years and has formed longstanding relationships with civic leaders and attorneys throughout the community. He joined the firm in 1993 and has handled a variety of business and real estate matters, as well as litigation at trial and on appeal, in both state and federal courts. In 2021, Mr. Marx was named to the Best Lawyers in America list and has been ranked by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory as an AV-Preeminent attorney for legal ability and adherence to ethical standards for more than 30 years.

Mr. Marx graduated cum laude from Boston University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University School of Law. Mr. Marx is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, and Federal Bar Association.

Mr. Marx holds licenses to practice law in all Louisiana state courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
