Mr. Watson graduated from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, with a Bachelor of Science. He earned his Juris Doctor degree at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he served president of the Loyola Law Student Division of the Federal Bar Association while also serving on the National Board for the Law Student Division. While earning his law degree, he worked as a clerk for the Orleans Parish Criminal District Court.
Before joining Chehardy Sherman Williams, Mr. Watson handled an array of legal work including insurance defense, intellectual property, criminal, business, and family law, labor and employment, Americans With Disabilities Act, Anti-trust, and personal injury.
He served as a member of the Federal Bar Association’s National Board of Directors of the Younger Lawyers Division from 2016 to 2020 and directed the Thurgood A. Marshall Moot Court Competition. Mr. Watson speaks English and Spanish and considers Mexico City a second home.
