Jeremy N. Gettes is an associate with Chehardy Sherman Williams working in the area of personal injury litigation. He holds a license to practice law in Louisiana and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Louisiana.
Mr. Gettes graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science. He then spent two years as a paralegal at Eisenberg Rothweiler in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he investigated cases on behalf of victims of defective medical devices and products.
Mr. Gettes earned his Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University Law School. While earning his law degree, he worked as a judicial extern for the Louisiana Supreme Court and served as the senior business editor for the Tulane Maritime Law Journal.
Prior to joining Chehardy Sherman Williams, Mr. Gettes was an associate attorney at Gertler Law Firm and focused his practice in the areas of product liability, premises liability, and auto accidents.
Mr. Gettes is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Louisiana Association of Justice, and in 2021 he became a member of The National Trial Lawyers – Top 40 Under 40. He also serves on the Executive Board of Team Fox NOLA whose mission is to support Parkinson’s disease research.
